Do walks help you focus on the current moment, vs. the past?

In order to bring yourself into a more “zen” like state, does going on walks help you focus on the now vs. the past? Do you also go on walks to let the stress go for the day and allow for you to focus on items that you want to do in the current or near future for self-care?

Yes, obviously—in fact, that is what living is; you are living. All you can do now is value the present, which is what encourages you to focus on the here and now. The past belongs to the past; it is already written—it cannot change, nor will it ever change. The only thing you can alter is your present, in order to build your future.
